PROCONSUL Project Model Structure

PROCONSUL® Project Models Overview

PROCONSUL  is based on the premise that knowledge is the core of any enterprise. The ability to simply apply the appropriate knowledge at the precise moment is fundamental to the PROCONSUL concept.

In the PROCONSUL
suite, knowledge is in the form of project models. The proper model is delivered to the user at the appropriate time based on real world constraints entered by the user.

Enterprise Knowledge Portfolio (EKP©) is a collection of customizable knowledge-based processes, best practices and methods organized into series of project models.

A Project Model includes everything required to plan, estimate, schedule and manage the execution of projects and resources. Project Models support a wide range of project types and may be of varying size, scope, risk and complexity.

Project Models can be organized in series. A series may include one or more individual project models within it. This organization provides flexibility for adding new models to a given model series or to add a completely new project model series to the PROCONSUL Enterprise Knowledge Portfolio as industry trends and client business requirements evolve.

In addition, the Enterprise Knowledge Portfolio (EKP) is the repository that enables the transformation of experience into knowledge.
Supporting EKP are the four primary work modules, two management engines and links to popular scheduling tools.
