PROCONSUL COMPONENT CAPABILITIES
PROCONSUL® is a customizable Project Portfolio Management solution with comprehensive support services. PROCONSUL™ comprises five functional modules supported by two management engines.
These components were designed to interact with each other depending on the specific requirements for a project or portfolio of related projects supporting client business needs. All business enterprises, whether small, medium or large, must face the same business and technical issues in order to survive in today’s competitive environment.
These issues include: What projects should we invest in? How should the work be organized and performed? How is the project progressing and how do we adjust if necessary? How successful were we in accomplishing goals and objectives? What can we learn from the project? How do we continuously improve this experience and make it re-usable and predictable?
PROCONSUL® is a complete Project Portfolio Management solution for the enterprise. The Proconsul® application includes three different modules viz: 1)Server Module, 2)Client Module, 3)Web Module. Each one of the three modules is available on the PROCONSUL® installation disk. The Web Version of the application is optional and is required if you need to have a browser based interface for users who are mobile.
PROCONSUL® provides dashboard-based, standard and ad hoc reports report packages; measures how well we plan, estimate, execute the plan and produce deliverables; and uses measures and metrics to continuously improve project portfolio management process. In addition, PROCONSUL® can invoke MS Project from the application, Load MPP Models into PROCONSUL®, Invoke foreign languages and Foreign Currencies and Dates.
